The Nike Stash highs were released tonight at Nort Recon, located in Soho, New York. The line was about 60 deep and was filled with dedicated fans of Stash, the graffiti artist. But the hyped atmosphere of the crowd quickly turned gloomy when the news of Stash not being able to make an appearance came up.
A source tells us that the reason why Stash could not make an appearance was because of a dramatic incident, supposedly there was a gruesome murder scene in the train, the cart next to Stash's. Since the artist was not available tonight, the Recon team will post up a date on their website for a separate signing day.
Many left disappointed, not only because Stash did not show up, but also because Nort Recon only released 22 pairs to the 60 people on line. "This is not a good look Nort Recon!!"
To the people who missed or could not get their hands on a pair of these Stashes, next week the Nike Sportswear Store in 21 Mercer will be dropping a lot more pairs with a price of $150. Now that sounds much better.
