Inspired by Jeremy Scott and his work with Adidas, Mateo applied his own twist on a pair of Nikes. While working on his second series of "American Native" dunk, he saw Mr. Scotts work and instantly fell in love with the "wings". Since he was working on a american-native theme and loved the wings from Mr. Scotts pair, he put two and two together and put his own twist.The series 2 of the N.A has the same basic elements of the N.A 1 with the colors blue, black and red. Mateo loves the wing so much, he says he will be applying it to future projects.
